Strohm Road Doe Pull

Jason got his first deer with his bo!!! Well actually he has shot other deer with his bo, but I should say that this is the first deer that he has actually found. Finally, he has found a good spot up here in Traverse City, thanks to a nice farmer that is letting him hunt his property.

Jason watched 6 other deer following behind the big 8 point buck he has been trying to get, and this doe was the 7th to come along, and the closest to him to be able to get a shot off. So he came home and recruited Mr. Dan and Scott to help track down the deer that he wasn't even sure if he hit or not. About 3 hours after they left, they pulled in with the deer in the back of Scotts jeep. So 11:00 pm we had a deer hanging from our garage ceiling and the neighbors over admiring.

UPDATE: Jason almost got the 8 point on Oct. 30. He took the shot and hit him, recovered the arrow, and then went out searching for him. 2 days of searching and following a blood trail, and still couldn't find him. He is probably still running around, darn it!!
