Zander MHA hockey

We have always done MHA/TPH Hockey with Hunter and Zander, this year we decided to try MDHL, so Zander tried out and didn’t make it - which has been pretty controversial with who they’re choosing.

So Zander was going to stay up here and play for the 16U team with friends and coached by Scott Harvey and the other guys from his North Stars days.

As we sat down to register him for GTHA, Jason got a text from Rick Gadwa saying he couldn’t believe Zander didn’t make MDHL, and he has a spot for him in the top tier 16U team which plays in tournaments against AAA teams. So Zander is now on the MHA team.

The first weekend the tournament was in Grand Rapids and Zander was busy going back and forth with soccer.

Thursday night- First Varsity Soccer Game- 2 goals, 1 assist. Friday, 2 hockey games - 2 goals. Saturday soccer game at 12:45pm and then back down to GR for a hockey game at 7:30pm.

Zander ‘25 Trojan Varsity Soccer

It was an exciting first varsity soccer game for Zander as a sophomore —scoring the Trojans’ first goal of the season, then adding another goal and an assist later in the game. So fun watching his fire on the field after all the work he put in this summer.

And he didn’t stop at soccer… right after the game he headed to GR for two hockey games with the MHA/TPH 16U team, where he netted 2 goals on Friday.

Back at it today with another soccer game at home and then down to GR for a final hockey game in the evening.

Proud of his commitment, hard work, and love for the games he plays. ⚽🏒🖤💛

Zander’s a Trojan!!

So proud of Zander - from being the Trojans Jr. Captain, to wearing Hunter’s jersey, to now being a Trojan himself, as a freshman. Following in his brother’s footsteps.

I am beyond excited to see Zander on the ice in his first official game as a Trojan 🖤💛.

Saturday, Nov 16th vs Petoskey 1pm @ Howe Arena.

Lets Go Trojans
