Halloween is finally here, but hasn't it been here for a month now?? With how many parties and trick-r-treating we have done this year, Halloween is a holiday that takes place throughout the whole month of October instead of just the very last day in October.
It started pouring about 2pm on Halloween, I was so upset I thought for sure we would probably be heading to the mall to do our trick-r-treating, but to my relief, the rain blew by and left behind a bright rainbow, so let the trick-r-treating begin!!! About an hour into trick or treating we started getting pelted with hail, that's right we are up north now, we are just lucky nothing white was on the ground, so we could deal with a little bit of nature playing a trick on us. The temperature wasn't too bad outside, no need for winter coats this year, just a sweat suit under the costumes and some gloves and your good to go.
Hunter had lots of fun running house to house with Elyse and Isabelle, and then hitching a ride in the wagon when he got tired. By the end of the night, the spiderman pail was completley filled to the brim. We got in the door about 8:30pm, that's when Mommy needed a treat of her own, thanks to Dan and Jill for supplying the drinks!!!
I had to leave a bowl of candy on the front porch, while Hunter and I went out to trick-r-treat, we actually had some candy left at the end of the night.
