Hunter broke his collar bone in a rope swing accident- it had rained the night before leaving the rope wet, when Hunter was swinging hover the hugest part, his hands slipped off the rope and he fell to the ground on his shoulder. Thankfully he had his phone on him and was able to call me. Our friend, Dr. peters was able to schedule him for surgery within days of the accident. Hunter had to get a plate and pins because of how he broke his bone.
Hunter had to miss the first month of the hockey season & then miss again in December/January to get the plate and pins taken out.
Waking up at 5:30 to be at surgery by 6:30 on a Saturday morning is great fun. Had to get a picture with his head net on. Off you go while mom and dad wait. 😷
