Dec 2019 & 2021 Trojans Houghton/Hancock trip

Hunter, 15, freshmen year on the Trojans Varsity Hockey team. 

The Trojans make a trip up to Houghton and Hancock every year in early December, Coach Givens’s hometown.

The Trojans hadn’t ever beat both teams in the same weekend. This was the year they did!! Hunter scored his first high school goal against Houghton in OT for the win! He had an assist and the OT goal in that game. The Trojans also won against Hancock the next day, Hunter had a goal. What an awesome moment to live and remember!! 

Up to Houghton and back in 2 days was absolutely awesome, 13 hours in the car, 2 hockey games, 2 wins for the Trojans vs Houghton and Hancock, 2 goals and 1 assist for Hunter, countless laughs and lots of memories made!!

Houghton/Hancock Trip

They had to skip this trip in 2020 because of the Covid Pandemic.

The Trojans lost against Houghton Friday night but then won against Hancock on Saturday. Hunter earned the hard hat again on the trip exactly 2 years after earning the hard hat for the first time in his high school career.
