Hunter had his first sleepover with his best friend Mitchell. The boys had alot of fun running around playing, then we had a bonfire at night (which wasn't the greatest, it was more like a smoke bonfire) and the boys had popcorn at 11pm and stayed up until past midnight. They slept in the family room on the pull out bed, which isn't the most comfortable, but it was fine by them. I went upstairs at midnight only to hear Hunter come running upstairs 5 minutes later saying, "Mitchell is FREAKIN me out!" they were talking about coyotes and wolves, lol. Jason went back down and turned the tv on for them to sleep. When I went back downstairs 30 min. later, Hunter was sitting up sound asleep while Mitchell was laying sideways sleeping. I got them both situated again without really waking them up and off to bed I went, only to be woken back up at 6 am by a HUGE rumble of thunder. I ran downstairs and saw that Hunter was wide awake but Mitchell slept right through it. The boys finally woke up close to 9 am where they continued playing until Mitchell went home at 2:30pm. Hopefully Hunter sees how much fun it is to have a friend spend the night, so that he will go spend the night at Mitchells house. I'm sure he will try it but I'm also banking on getting a call at midnight to come pick him up (atleast that's what I used to do when I was his age, and older, haha)
