Every birthday I feel I want to do something daring. Like when I turned 30, I was bound and determined to get a tatoo. Well that was 3 years ago and I'm still trying to get up the nerve to get one, but the 'daring' thought was there. This year, there was really no daring thought but then our friends, Jen and Todd, stopped over to bring me my birthday treat, my Dad just 5 min. before they arrived was having a fit that nobody had gotten me a cake, so you could imagine how happy I was that somebody brought me a treat.
Anyway, Jen and Todd rode their Harley over. When they were leaving and got half way down the street they turned around and asked me if I had ever ridden on a bike before (I never have) so Jen gave me her leather jacket and helmet and off Todd and I went on the bike. I thought we were just going for a little ride around the sub, but oh no as Todd said, you can't get the real feel for a bike unless you go on the real roads. So off we went for my first motorcycle ride and I have to say I felt so cool riding on the back of a bike, it was a lot of fun!!!
For some of you this is probably far from daring but to me, it was a little bit on the wild side. So thanks to Jen and Todd, I am no longer a virgin motorcylcle rider, haha!!!
