Zander - 6 months

Zander is officially half a year old!! He is getting so cute and fun, smiling and laughing so much, a pretty happy little guy (when he's not tired or hungry.) Last night was his 6 month checkup and he weighed in at 20.13 lbs. and 28" long. His weight and height are in the 90th percentile. The Dr. said he's measuring at what a 12-13 month old would measure, no wonder he's wearing 12-18 month clothes. Yep we grow them big here at the Folgmann house! However, ever since he started eating foods his weight has hit a plateau, which is fine because if he continued to gain at the rate that he was, he would be as big as Hunter right now, eek! Zander had to get 3 shots last night and one vaccination orally. He did GREAT!! He whimpered a little bit on the second shot but only for a second and then was smiling again and being flirty with the nurse.

Oh what a talker Zander is. I don't know if he is trying to be like his big brother and having to talk all the time or in the car if he is trying to sing, but whatever he is trying to say he's loud about it but not so clear, lol. His first tooth popped through last weekend and he is rolling, rolling, rolling all over the place. I think he is at the beginning stages of trying to crawl; he lifts himself up on all fours and even lifts his knees off the ground so he has his hands and feet on the ground. And the other night he was actually standing without assistance (although assistance was very near by) holding onto the bathtub watching Hunter take a bath. I think he was trying to get in there with Hunter. I have never heard Zander laugh so much and so loud like he did that night watching Hunter take a bath. Zander and Hunter just get a kick out of each other!!!
