Hunter and Zanders World: What a Surprise

Last Friday I received an awesome surprise....while sitting at my desk at about 4:15pm, somebody peeked into my office to ask me a question, but it wasn't just anybody, it was Diane, my Mom and Dad, I was shocked!! See I knew that Todd, Wendy, Asher and Delaney were on their way up and I thought it was weird that my Mom wasn't going to hop in their car a

and bum a ride upnorth, but she had already been planning on this surprise for over a month.

The reason they were coming up was to not only see us, but to be at Hunter's 5th birthday family celebration. Hunter had been so geeked all week that his cousins were coming up to visit him. We were planning on going to the Resort on Friday night to go swimming, so Hunter wore his bathing suit all day just to make sure that he was ready when I got home. However, Hunter wasn't planning on Grandma and Grandpa C. being there, once he saw them, Hunter was wound up the whole weekend. We still went swimming at the Resort and stayed there until 11:30pm, Hunter didn't even want to get out of the pool then.

Saturday was a big day! What started out as a little family get together for Hunter's birthday ended up being a big bash that not only included our surprise visitors but also our friends Todd, Jen, Taiger and Cooper. The house was loud and warm with all those people, but we had such a good time. Hunter as always got way too many gifts including 4 more Wii games, just what he needed. Hunter, his cousins and his friends ran around like maniacs screaming and playing.

I am so glad that Hunter had a good time and I hated to see that night and the weekend come to an end, I wish it was Friday so we can enjoy the weekend all over again!!!
