Crunching through the leaves, the smell of burning wood in the air, crisp blue skies, sweater weather, wind blowing through my hair and the bare tree branches, corn fields rustling in the wind, spotting deer scrapes and animal tracks in the ground, the perfect Autumn day for a walk through the woods. I could have stayed out there all day, it was absolutely perfect! The only thing that would have been better is if the leaves were still on the trees in their brilliant colors!If only I could plop a house in the middle of the fields with the woods as the backdrop, ahhhh, that would be heaven!!
