Hunter goes to Pre-School

Who knew the first day of pre-school would be so exciting and so hard at the same time? And the hard part was on me alot more than Hunter. Hunter was so excited the night before and in the morning. We were both fine walking to his classroom than seeing his locker and that's when I started to lose it, but he still did good.

Once he got in his classroom and I helped him find a place on the carpet, sitting and talking with him for a few minutes, than the dreaded kiss and hug goodbye, and that's when he lost it. I quickly made my escape and Dad took over from there getting him back on the carpet and then his friend next door walked in and distracted him long enough for Jason to make his escape. So all morning I was worried he would notice that Jason was gone and cry, but thankfully he didn't notice and he had a GREAT time!

We picked Hunter up at 11:45am, he was smiling and so excited that he loved pre-school so much he wish he could stay there all day, every day. So for now he is enrolled Monday and Wednesday mornings, but eventually we will add a full day in there and then 2 full days.

I couldn't be happier and more proud of my little guy for doing such a good job at his first day of pre-school!!
