Toledo Zoo

The highlight of our trip downstate besides surprising Grandma and Grandpa Cousino, was the TOLEDO ZOO. We had the most perfect day to go to the zoo, 78 not a cloud in the sky, however, alot of the animals were sleeping when we were there.

Our favorite animals to see: The polar bears; one was swimming back and forth right in front of us, swimming on it's belly and it's back. The gorilla's; they are hilarious, they act just like people, wrestling, how they sit, how they use their hands, we watched them the longest. The train ride; getting to see giraffes and zebras and ride on the cool train. Hunter liked the rain forest; we were in the rain forest watching this animal climb down a tree, Jason and I had no clue what it is and Hunter pipes in, that looks like a Sloth, we were like how in the world does he know? He was right, it was a sloth, we asked him how he knew that and he said he learned it from watching Diego, see watching tv isn't all that bad. We spent almost 5 hours at the zoo and stayed until it closed. We will definitly go back, especially when our new little guy gets older.

I really wanted to get pictures of the lions and tigers, but they were sleeping and we really couldn't see them, gives us a reason to go back.

Get ready for lots of pictures:

Hunter with Dad looking over the zoo

Hunter hugging the seals statues

Posing with the Polar Bear, he was so cool, it's like he would look right in the camera

So cute!

This is him swimming back and forth

Hunters hand on Boomers hand, he was HUGE!!

Hunter in front of Boomer

Boomer, he was huge, but seemed gentle with the others

The 'King' Gorilla, the others obey him, when he was eating, the others would sit in a circle around him, he definitly has control

The gorillas were actually doing this when they were wrestling, and then the big guy charged them and they behaved after that.
Some kind of weird spider crab
Jelly Fish
Hunter in front of a big snake
Watching the elephants

Our train ride
The wolves, they looked so pretty, I wish they would have gotten up and moved around

I think they are watching the hippo or seal I can't remember,
I just thought it was a cute picture.
