Easter Egg Hunt

What could be better than joining over 15,000 people at the Grand Traverse Resort for an Easter Egg Hunt? Alot of things!!!

This was our first experience at an Easter Egg Hunt, thinking Hunter is a little bit older now and it was a nice day, so we tried it. Let's just say it was our first and probably our last. Hunter did really good getting only 3 eggs, compared to alot of other kids who got 0. Jason tried to do the pep talk to Hunter before the whistle blew, you know the typical sports pep talk: Do whatever you have to do to get the egg, push, throw an elbow, run the other kids over, however, our sweet little Hunter is not that kind of kid.

Instead of an Easter Egg Hunt it was just a bunch of eggs thrown in a circle for the kids to grab. However, some parents thought they would make it easier on their kids by lining eggs up in front of them so it would be easier to grab.

With all of those people, we didn't even dare stay to try and get our face painted or a balloon sculpture, instead we went to McDonald's for breakfast.

Making our way through the crowd to the hunt
This is what they call the Easter Egg Hunt; a bunch of eggs thrown in the middle of a circle!

The pep talk!!!

Let the Madness begin
