My baby is 4 years old

Four years ago we were still in the hospital after Hunter was born. We would be in there for one more day and come home the day before Christmas Eve. Now four years later, it's hard to believe Hunter went from this tiny little baby who needed our help to do anything, to this smart, sweet, funny, independent four year old who insists on doing most things himself.

One years old, Hunter was just learning how to walk. His favorite gift/toy was his push jeep that he could also sit on. He was a little pudgy, Grandma Lori called him her Butterball. He was loveable and cuddly and messy when eating.

Two years old, Hunter was just barely talking. He was saying little things and just starting to try talking in sentences. We had just moved up to Traverse City. Hunter would spend his days at Miss Stephanies house while Mom and Dad were at work. He learned alot there, including becoming fully potty trained right after his 2nd birthday. His favorite toy was his bicycle and his motorized jeep.

Three years old, Hunter was in his Spiderman stage. He had his first friends birthday party. Grandma Lori and Grandpa Mark moved up to Traverse City so Grandma could watch Hunter while Mom and Dad are at work. This year Hunter learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels, it only took him 2 tries and off he went. He also likes his razor scooter. Hunter is great at hitting a baseball, just like his dad. Hunter passed his first swimming lessons at the Great Wolf Lodge and is on to level 2. He went bird hunting in the woods for the first time with Daddy, Sage and Skye, and always pretends he's hunting. He learns everyday and always amazes us with the things he says and does.
Now, Hunter is four years old. His new passion is hockey. He wants to be a hockey player when he grows up and loves going ice skating. I am sure this year will be as eventful and fun as the past four have been, and we can't wait to see what you have in store for us this year Hunter.

Happy 4th Birthday Hunter!!!
