Jr. Firefighter

It's official, Hunter is now a Traverse City Junior Firefighter. Saturday was a fun day at the firestation, where Hunter took the Jr. Firefighter test which included, a little written test, shoot the water hose at a house that is on fire (a wood house with wood fire in the windows), he then had to run through an obstacle course running across a balance beam, dragging a folded up hose from cone to cone, climb through a window and run as fast through the maze. Hunter finished with flying colors, and had to promise (with right hand raised) to never play with fire, he then got his firefighter hat. After Hunter was finished with his firefighter test, we took a ride on an old fashioned firetruck, ate hotdogs, and got a tatoo. We had so much fun, now on top of being a football player, and an army pilot for Halloween, Hunter now wants to be a firefighter.

This is sideways, but you can still watch Hunter put out the fire with the hose
