Road Trip

Last Saturday we actually had no plans at all so we decided to take a road trip, just the 3 of us, oh and the dogs too. First we made our way into town to have breakfast, can't go on a road trip on an empty stomach. We then drove and drove all the way up to Northport, I didn't realize that the drive is that long. We got to see the lighthouse (control tower for boats according to Hunter). It was a little chilly with the wind coming off of Lake Michigan, and there wasn't really much to see, so we left there and headed to Fish Town, Leland. Fish Town was a pretty neat little town. We liked going in all the little shops along the water, they were really rustic. After we spent some time there, we headed to Glen Arbor. There isn't much in Glen Arbor, but we did get a pizza and eat it by the river while watching canoes and kayaks pass by. It was a long, but very nice day to spend site seeing more of Michigan.
