Pumpkin Patch 2008

Jason and I both had Friday off, which is very rare, so we thought it would be a perfect day to go to the pumpkin patch. The weather was 82 on September 28, pretty good and unseasonably warm, since this day was probably warmer than 75% of the days during the Summer. We went to Hoxie's Orchard which is chalk full of stuff to do; an apple orchard, pick your own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, tractor rides (only on Saturday on Sunday's we found out) so instead Hunter got to ride around and drive the farmers lawn mower. Grandma Lori and Grandpa Mark met us out there. Hunter picked out his perfect pumpkin, a green one! We hung out with the farm dog, Arthur, who was very nice and stuck by us, probably because we were giving him food. Grandpa helped Hunter climb an apple tree to try and pick the highest apple. All in all it was a great day at the pumpkin patch!!!
