Hunters 1st Hunt

Last Sunday Jason thought it would be a good idea to take Hunter (and me) on our first bird hunting trip. So we got Hunter his own orange vest and made sure he had his shooters and packed the dogs and headed out to the woods. It was a beautiful day, although a little on the warm side for the dogs to run in, but they were still game. Hunter though had a little trouble walking through the spot that we were hunting in because the ferns were still too high, once they die off it will be better. I tried to walk with Hunter on my back, that didn't last long. So Hunter and I decided to head back to the 2 track and walk along that while Jason stayed in the woods with the dogs. All in all we were out there for about an hour, even though the hunt didn't go well, it was just a nice day in the woods.
