We finally made it to Torch Lake this year with Kyle and Sonya. The weather was supposed to be absolutely perfect, which it did start out that way as we made our way slowly down the river that connects 3 different lakes. We arrived at the sand bar along with hundreds of other people to enjoy the sun, and the beautiful turqouise water that Torch Lake is known for. About an hour after we anchored, we noticed a bank of clouds that were slowly creeping out way. The clouds might have scared alot of other boats away but we stuck it out. We met up with a couple of guys that Jason works with and anchored near them for a while, and then Jason wanted to go tubing, so off we went. Jason was going good but then wiped out, then he and Tanille got on the tube together to have a go-round which was pretty hilarious, then it was my turn with Tanille. I have to tell you ever since my wipe out last year, I am not the daring one I used to be and being on the tube with another person made me even worse. We did go fast, but told them to slow down a little and we didn't wipe out when we were going but slid off while we were stopped.
We noticed that the time was 7:30pm, we had been out there all day! We decided to make the hour trek back to shore so we could grill up some hamburgers and hot dogs. All the while in the distance we heard thunder and lightening but were lucky enough not to get rained on. We are so glad that we went out for the day, we had alot of fun!!!
For those of you that aren't familiar with Torch Lake, you can kind of see in these pictures the beautiful color of the crystal clear water that looks like it has coloring in it because the color is the bluest blue

Pictures of us tubing and Jason wiping out. Jason also caught a muskeet while trolling through the river on the way back to shore.
