Rollerblading

Hunter and Jason surprised me last Friday when they picked me up from work with a new gift. They told me to look in the trunk, I was a little apprehensive at first, but I opened it up and saw a brand new pair of rollerblades. Finally, I can get rid of the pair that I have been using since I was 15 years old. The pair that I never once changed the tires or even rotated them. So you can only imagine what the tires look like, they are either slanted to one side, because I am still not the greatest at using the back break so I drag my foot, or they are completely flat. So I put on my new rollerblades, and suddenly I felt a little wobbly on these new pair. The tires were brand new so they weren't flat giving me less of a surface to balance on. I actually now have support around my ankles, which have made my ankles a little sore, but the more I use them the more I get used to them and the more I love them.

Oh yea, Hunter got a new pair too. Here are pictures of him, Elyse, and Isabell on their rollerblades. Isabell was being such a good teacher giving him tips I never even thought of.
