Happy 4th of July

Friday, July 4th was the "official" start of the National Cherry Festival, and with that brings the arrival of Grandma and Grandpa Cousino, Uncle Chad, and Diane. We actually had a really relaxing day and didn't do too much. We went on a "Nature Walk" as downstaters call it, we walked through the woods and were just going to put our feet in the river, however, Hunter decided he was going to go swimming, so the pictures show his progression of getting wet with his clothes on and off. Later that evening we went downtown for the firework show. The Blue Angels made a special night time surprise appearance and so did the Golden Knights Navy Parachute team. They were so cool and jumped out of a plane that nobody really even heard or saw because it was so high. Hunter was able to get their autograph and his picture taken with them. Finally came the firework show over the water. It was a beautiful night.
