The "Real" Santa Claus

We went to the mall tonight to go play at the tree house and guess who was there? The Real Santa Claus. Hunter was so good about sitting on his lap and talking with him. He obviously is alot braver than his Mom was at his age, every picture of me on Santa's lap I am screaming and crying. Anyhow, Hunter talked with him and then came to me and I asked Hunter if he asked Santa for his basketball and he said "oh no", I said you better go tell him. So Hunter walked back up to Santa and told him, it was so cute. Santa said I will see what I can do about that. Hunter then came to me kind of looking upset, and I pulled him aside and asked him what was the matter, almost in tears he said "Santa didn't give me my basketball". I had to tell Hunter that Santa has to go back to the North Pole and tell the Elves what to make and then on Christmas Santa will try and bring you what you want. That answer seemed to satisfy him. So guess what? I have to go out and get a basketball to have under the tree for Hunter on Christmas morning from Santa.
