Useless trip to Urgent Care

This morning Hunter was kicking a little soccer ball around the house and ended up stepping on it and falling, landing on his thumb and bending it backwards, owey is right!!! We went over to Miss Jills house for her to look at it, and she had a surprise for Hunter, a Spiderman doll, Hunter was happy. So we stayed over there for about an hour and watched him play. I was going to take him then to urgent care but decided to see how his thumb would do the rest of the day. After a few hours, he was so proud of himself that he could move his thumb, but we still kept an eye on it. After his nap, his thumb looked more swollen and more bruised, so I decided after dinner to take him to the urgent care. We got there about 6:35pm, finally got called in around 7:50pm, then sent back out to the waiting room, until about 8:20pm, when they said it would probably be another hour. Well, that was it, we ended up leaving but not before having a little bit of fun in the office. Hunter was very well behaved and played the whole time, even with his thumb hurting, although he was starting to use his thumb more and more. The nurses couldn't believe how much energy he had and how good he was being.

So when will the next trip to the Urgent Care or ER be??? Hmmmm..... I have a feeling we will be visiting these 2 places often enough, since our son is into extreme sports!!!!
