Where's that chirp coming from?

Where's that chirp coming from not too far; oh my, it's a little birdy stuck in the car. "Look Mom" Hunter said, "Sage's nose is stuck in your truck", (actually he said "Grandpas truck", because he knows it's Grandpas truck not Moms and reminds me everytime we go somewhere in it) anyway......

Last week when I came home from work, I kept on hearing a bird chirping really close by, and then sage immediately went over to the Explorer and put her nose in the front of it. Still not thinking anything of it, I went to the store. When I returned, Jason was outside and started hearing the chrip, he said I think it's coming from the Explorer, I couldn't believe it. Then we saw the little birdy kind of fluttering around but couldn't get out. So Jason went to work trying to free the bird. After about 2 hours finally the bird stuck his head out from underneath the car. When we pulled him out, of course Sage was right there and snagged him as soon as he hit the ground, so I went running after her. Slipping and sliding on the wet grass, I finally got a hold of Sage, but it was too late, the little birdy was not doing well. Jason and Hunter went and buried it in the backyard. Poor little bird, didn't stand a chance with a hunting dog waiting for you!!!

Poor little birdy, this is after Sage had ahold of it
