Hunters cousins Asher and Delaney came up to visit us last weekend, and although their trip was shortened, the kids still had a great time.
So as soon as they arrived, Hunter decided to take Asher on a ride in his "peep". Up here in the boondocks, we don't have sidewalks, downstate you do not go in the street to play. So here we have a country boy at the wheel and a city boy in the passenger seat and off they went. What didn't cross our minds is that something could happen that quickly. So finally us parents make our way outside, only to see the jeep in the middle of the street stopped with both Asher and Hunter balling. Mr. Dan across the street saw this and tried to assist and asked the boys what was the matter and all they said is "I want Mommy", "I want Daddy". We rushed out there thinking did somebody get run over? Did somebody get stung by a bee? What could possibly have been so horrible that both boys are crying in the middle of the street?
Here is the answer........ Asher got scared because in the city you are taught to not play or ride your bike/jeep in the street, that's what sidewalks are for. So Asher started yelling at Hunter because he was riding in the street and told him to turn around. Hunter was crying because Asher told him to turn around. Boy that was horrible!! Thank goodness the rest of the trip wasn't as traumatic as the first jeep ride.

Hunter and Asher were sharing the little couch, but Delaney had plans of her own!!
Like an old married couple, Delaney is telling Hunter to slow down!!!

We also went to the beach the next day, and can you believe I forgot my camera???
