We went and picked up Hunters playground, he is going to be so happy when it gets put together. So it's funny, because these playgrounds are ready to assemble at home, well what they didn't tell you is that you should have a builders license to even read the directions. Amateurs should not try this at home!!! Hunter keeps on sitting on all the boxes and says "my playground". As soon as Daddy can get it together, we will take tons of pictures with Hunter playing on it, that is after we make sure it's secure, so we'll send Sage on it first, LOL!!! Poor Sage!!!
Saturday night we made a bonfire. It was a perfect night, a little chilly but nice to be by the bonfire. Hunter was so excited and told dad "not touch daddy, too hot". Jason found a perfect stick to roast some marshmellows which I did and tried to give some to Hunter but he said too hot. So he decided to "roast" his own marshmellows. Standing 5 feet from the fire, Hunter held a marshmellow in his hand and reached towards the fire and said "ooh HOT" and then ate it. Of course the marshmellow didn't get near the fire, but to Hunter it was perfect. He then grabbed the bag of marshmellows from me, said "all done", walked up to the house, put the clip on the bag and put them back in the pantry. I didn't know he did all of that until I went in the house to get a different snack and there were the marshmellows in the pantry. He's such a cute little guy and where did he get his need to put things away?? Definitly not from his Mom. I forgot to mention that Hunter had his superman suit on during the entire bombfire, actually he had it on for much of the afternoon. Hunter ended up having a little accident because he didn't want to take the time to walk up to the house. So we headed in to get his bath and afterwards I asked him if wanted to lay in bed and read a book, and he started crying, "go outside" so we put a sweatshirt on over his pjs and socks on and went back to the bombfire. Within about 5 minutes Hunter was sound asleep on me.
Hunter-isms:
Too Loud: Everything is too loud. Dad's tractor (lawn mower), Dad's boat, motorcycles, trucks, airplanes, Hunter's jeep (this is why he won't ride it), Sage (I agree), the TV sometimes. I hope this is just a stage and not a problem with his ears being too senstive.
Bummer = Summer

Unter Bogman = Hunter Folgmann
Nocate nilk = Chocolate milk
Poppop = Ketchup
Tree, bore, bive - 3, 4, 5 this is when he is counting anything, he starts with 3, 4, 5, don't ask me where 1 and 2 are.
A neighbor asked Hunter "how are you today" and Hunter held up his fingers and said "2" and walked away. We cracked up!!!
When asking Hunter something like, Do you know what State you live in? Hunters says "yah" and you say "what state", and he says "I dunno". He does this alot, you will ask him something and he will say he knows than says I dunno. Although he does say Michigan really, really good.
On Sunday after playing outside for a little while and it was getting pretty warm out, Hunter said "too hot, play downstairs" and went inside and played downstairs. Kind of funny that a 2 year old says too hot and wants to play inside.
