Shiner

Mr. Independent has a tendency to just sneak off when we aren't looking. Most of the time it's when we are in the house and Hunter wants to go outside, so he just opens the front door and out into the open world he is. However, Hunters lastest sneaking off was when I was helping Jason with Hunters playground, trying to hold some wood in place so he could get closer to finishing this BIG project. Hunter decided to head out on his big wheel down the street to Lauren and Aidan's house, which is where he normally heads off to. While we did watch him go down the street and kept yelling for him to come back, we were kind of stuck and couldn't move at that moment. About 5-10 minutes later after we got the pieces secured we were working on, I quickly made it down to the court where they were playing on the swingset at Aidan and Laurens house. Everything seemed fine to me, however, I had just missed the "accident". Apparently, I think JP was swinging and Hunter happened to be in back of him, or they were both by the swing, anyhow, the swing hit Hunter in the eye. Thank goodness Mrs. Kerri was there to comfort Hunter and make sure he was alright, but he did get a little boo-boo on his eye and within a couple of minutes he was back to playing like nothing happened. So here are a couple of pictures of his eye, it really wasn't that bad, but we had to take a picture of his first "little" shiner.
