First and Last trip

Saturday June 2 was an absolute perfect day to take a boat ride, and that's just what we did. We took out Jason's little fishing boat and went to Torch Lake. Torch Lake is named the third most beautiful Lake in the world with it's different shades of blues and turquoises, it was absolutely beautiful and the pictures I took just don't do it justice.

It looks like they colored the water to make it this pretty, but it's all natural
I mentioned this was our first trip and will be our last trip, since we pretty much sold our boat. We put a sign on it during our garage sale, and even though I only made $7 for the whole day, we had an interested buyer for our boat. So we thought since it was a nice day we would take it out and make sure it ran good, Jason said this is the best it has run since he bought it last year.

Our Yacht named "Frank"

Hunter was a little scared at first, he sat on me holding onto me while we cruised pretty fast around the first lake, Hunters hat ended up blowing off into the water, so we circled around and I fished it out of the water, atleast it's clean now. So much for me tanning, with Hunter sitting on me, being all slathered up with sunscreen, there was no chance of sun breaking through him. We then had to cruise from the first lake through a little river and then to Torch Lake. You would not believe the difference once you reach Torch Lake, I just can't stop saying how beautiful the water color was, it was soooooo clear and blue. It's funny that you go from one lake to this one and the difference in the water color. We cruised around Torch Lake for a few minutes and went from 2 ft. deep to 200 ft. deep, that kind of gives me the willies, 200 ft. of water. We then circled back to the sandbar, where a bunch of boats were docked. The water was a little cold at first but with it only being 2 ft. deep you get used to it. It took Hunter a few minutes to want to get in, but then he was having a ball. There was a doggy out there that the kids were taking turns throwing a tennis ball to him, so Hunter got to throw the ball for the dog, and he was laughing and having fun.

He liked picking up the sand in the water and splashing Mom and Dad.

Here I come Mom

We stayed there for about an hour, and then we went back to the other lake so Jason could do a little fishing. Hunter wanted to help Dad fish, so he helped hold he pole, and soon enough Jason caught a fish, how exciting was that to actually catch a fish, well I was excited.

The "Fisherman" on the yacht Frank

What a beauty.......I'm talking about the fish!!!

Can I hold him??

He's going to bite me!!!

About 20 minutes after the fish was caught, the wind started picking up and the clouds were looking dark, and the waves were starting to get a little bigger, so we decided to head in. Once we got the boat loaded up and headed home, about 2 miles down the road, it started raining, we made it in just in time. But what a nice and fun day on the boat!!!
